This level was considered a loss even though there was still candy to be removed from the screen. I should have won this level. Instead it ended the round. Like this.

The game does not play out the final cascade sequence. When it is clear to the computer running the programme that this level was failed it will tell the player so and stop the level mid cascade. This is quite normal. The same happens when we pass a level and we are invited to "press to skip" the final sequence.
