Unfair weekly contestants

I am on Level 18865.
every week in my Weekly Contest, I have to play with brand new players or players who for instance are level 74 or 71, as an example

How can I possibly compete against those players when there is such a big difference in the possibility of completing levels in 18865 vs those newbie players.

I think it is a highly unfair advantage.
why can’t I compete with players on my level to make it fair

Hello @cat2222 The weekly contest has been run like this for several months now and all players compete with "players" who started playing Candy Crush the same week. It is not clear how King choose the opponents, but they manage to somehow fix the event so that we are matched with players (bots/trolls/or real players) who will make it easy for us to get to 4th position, hard to get onto the podium and really hard to get to first position. The other players do NOT see us in their games. ALL players only play against new players. Those of us who haven't passed any levels in the past week get really easy opponents. I have seen players who stopped playing after a single level, like this one:

It is all down to which players King pick for us to compete against. The event is 100% fixed by King, but I cannot tell you exactly how they do it. It defeats me as these players do appear to be real.
