This has been reported by others and seems to be happening occasionally on sprinks levels. There is no sign that King are in a rush to fix this glitch. You could try and ask their chat bot in the game for advice. To access "Kingsley" go to the Help Centre from Settings in your game and scroll through the options until you get "chat with us" at the bottom. If you do not get a satisfactlyr response Kingsley ought to transfer you to Player Support. They might give you some boosters as compensation if you post your screenshot to them.
However, since I note from your screenshot that you are out of gold you might be interested to read this discussion I link below. Check page 1 for my best advice. This game is rigged. That is why the dragon did not drop. You were supposed to fail the level and pay money to buy more gold to get past this level.
