why has the game changed to your having to play this stupid star tournament. You get stuck there for 3-4 days……losing movement on weekly status. Oh it returns by Wednesday. Meanwhile your “wins” are gone. Can I stop this annoying star tournament?
I am one of those that enjoy playing the star tournament at. I have been at the end of the map for years. It's not forced on anyone. You do have the option not to play as Christine stated above. The prizes are shown under the event tab. I win the extra boosters very often. As far as people saying that they want out of the tournament I haven't seen that very often. I have seen people say it was hard to win the top prize but not that they want an option not to play. Just don't play it. Do something else until new levels.
as long as I’ve been playing I’ve never reached the end…..with no new plays. It seems obvious that Star tournament was inspired by the King staff to keep us amused. It’s not fun. One new game after another…..I quit. so who ever wins?
And what is the prize?
I’ve already out timed two weekly so it’s start over on Wed. Lame don’t you think. from what I can tell there are many asking to get out of Star and aren’t thrilled being stuck with no other choice
Thank you for answering me. it might be time to take a second look at Star and how it moves in giving no account for our progress.
Try having 100’s of games ready to go….no I “reached the happy end” and now it’s Stars until a few days go by. This seems like a lose-lose to fans
The reason it is what it is is because you have reached the end of the existing map. Somebody, AI or human, needs to create new levels for you to play, and at the moment these do not yet exist, they have not yet been created. All players at the end of the map are in this really annoying situation: There are many events we cannot participate in because we do not have enough levels to play. This is why King have created the star tournament. This at least allows players who have reached the end of the map to participate in leaderboard competitions. Unfortunately these levels do not count towards many events and the weekly contest is one of those.
I grasp what you’re saying. whether or not Star stays, I never have gotten into a boxed situation where I can’t keep playing. This Wed replenishment is new to me🤷🏻♀️
Aside from that, weekly games that end today I’m out of luck. Seems I can’t add to my numbers so I lose the prizes and start at square 1 again. first time that’s happened. I’ve paid to add tokens to continue on weekly games. Lost cause. so your explanation is understood but you’ve lost me why this is how it will be. many dislike this STAR tournament.
Removing the star tournament would not make any difference @kookla44 : If it was gone then there would be just NOTHING. Just nothing until next Wednesday. With or without the existence of the star tournament you are free to do nothing until new levels come out next Wednesday. What exactly is the difference? Some people quite like playing it, but you aren't forced to. Just take a break away from the game and enjoy real life until new levels are released. There ARE no levels now that you have reached the end of the map. 60 new levels get released every Wednesday. Welcome to life at the end of Candy Crush!

Is there a moderator on the forum anymore? This glitch just started today, the new levels that were just added are not syncing across my devices. All are up to date. It's also been saying occasionally about no connection, but closing out the game and restarting seems to take care of that. The real issue is the syncing…
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
Is anyone else’s games freezing and then crashing? The last few days my games are consistently freezing and crashing. Costing me gold bars and boosters. I have good internet service and am having the same problem using my data on my phone. update. Still having the same problem. My internet and my iphone 17 pro have not…
