Etime i try and purchase in app it is saying my password is incorrect. Yet when I log into my Google play it says they aren't showing any problem

This will be your password for your payment method, so it is not directly related to Candy Crush. You need to check again with Google. Are you able to make any purchases in other apps using your google play account? Try resetting your payment method and password on your Google account. This is not something that anyone at Candy Crush can help you with.
Personally I do not recommend ever spending any real money on this game: If you see ads in your game you will lose them after spending anything.
