As many of you know, I have been at the end of the map since February of this year. A few weeks ago I stopped moving forward on the map because of the bug with the episode race streak, which seemed to cause people to lose their streak. I'm still not sure whether it made a difference, or if everyone actually had their streak restored, but it worked for me, and I still have my streak, so I'm happy about that.
But one other thing that happened to me during that time is that I suddenly got offered the supercharger (super color bomb) for the first time since February. It was wonderful; I used it to do 3 episodes and the amount of boosters needed to maintain my 500+ level win streak and get through those episodes was way less than it is without the supercharger. So I would love to get it again.
I'm trying to guess what may have triggered King to suddenly offer me the supercharger again. One thing I noticed was that it seemed to show up almost exactly one week after I stopped moving forward. So I wonder if that's what did it.
Or perhaps it's due to not being all the way at the end of the map?
When other people get offered the supercharger, what is the typical rhythm for it? How often is it offered? Does something specific seem to trigger it?
I finished with the supercharger about 22 hours ago. Since then I did one more episode. I'm wondering what my best play is from here to have a good chance to get it again.
With the new levels added today, I am now 8 episodes from the end of the map. I'm wondering if there is an ideal distance from the end to be.
