when I try for extra lives, it tells me level already reached and I never get them. Never saw this before. Been happening all day

It's a shame you hadn't taken a screenshot and attached it for us to see @Piper9537. That would have made it easier for us to see exactly what you meant. So it would be a good idea in future if you can add a screenshot 👍. But are you saying while playing you was going to your envelope for lives your friends send you. If so the daily limit for those are 20, so you had probably already used them and reached your limit.
