Daily Treat Machine only appears if offline! (Edit: now fixed)

This is something I observed this weekend and a tip to anyone who has been missing their Daily Treat Machine: Please close the app, turn off wifi/mobile data and open the app offline. The Daily Treat Machine should then appear.

Note that the episode race and other events won't load until you are again connected to the internet. So to keep playing close the app, turn wifi/data back on and then reload the app.

I have some good news, the team has identified the issue and you should all have your Daily Threat Machine back, no need to play offline in order to get access to it!

If this is not the case, please let us know HERE and tag me and the Candy Mods so we can pick this up fast and report back if needed.

Hi @cartergray705 it was a really good tip wasn't it. But the Daily Treat Machine has been fixed now, and you should get it when opening your game online now. If you aren't please say, so that it can be looked into further 👍

Today, the vending machine was back. As suggested, I'm not going to accept it offline. I'd rather just do without it. I don't constantly move my tablet around.

I have no idea why this happens. I think it's a glitch in the system. Probably no one at King's knows why this happens either.

@QueenB now it's Monday, maybe someone could look into this? The Daily Treat Machine won't show up for players when connected to the server, but it does show up when we go offline. That can't be intentional, surely?

Tried it a few times on my iphone and ipad, didn't work for me. It seems the daily treat has gone now

i turned airplane mode on, the Daily Treat Machine was visible, i clicked CLAIM, machine gave 30 minutes of stripe/wrapped candies. turned airplane off, and DTM was no longer available. looked at my boosters and saw the 30 minutes of s/w boosters was active.
I'll try this again tomorrow to see if i can replicate it for more treats!

Hi@christinewupp i turned on Airplane mode the Dailly treat machine did show up and i turned Wi-Fi back on and went back in the game the daily treat machine was gone, why did this happen.
