CONTINUOUS PROBLEM FOR ME

Why am I forced to participate in a race that i don't want to participate in? I can’t bypass the episode race. I only see the start button. No 'x' to exit. I play as a mean of enjoyment or relaxation. Keeping me from playing Candy Crush because I choose not to compete or participate in a race is totally not fair the to me. I should be given an option. Lucky for me, there is other match games that that i can play that does not interfere with me just playing.

This needs to be fixed. Also, i turned off the features, like AI suggested by it does not work. Still have to participate or just not play. Have to stop playing for 24 hours to play 2 more levels before it prevents me from playing because I choose not to press start on the episode race. I can exit and restart the game but it goes back to the episode race wanting me to participate and i don't want to.

Hello @donotmakemeplay The easiest way to avoid being part of races and events you do not want to participate in is to play offline.

If you are not bothered about earning gold bars then the ideal way for you to play would be to play offline. That way the episode race and other events, such as Candy Royale, will not load at all.

In order to play offline:

1. Close the app
2. Turn off wifi and mobile data on your device
3. Load the app

That way it will open up in offline mode. Some events such as bakers box still will work and allow you to gain some boosters. The train and fishing boat feature work offline and lives from friends are also available to use. Once the game has loaded in offline mode you can then turn the wifi and data back on so you can use other apps. As long as you don't close Candy Crush to reload it, the app should remain in offline mode because once loaded in offline mode the app will not be looking for any internet signal.
