if this doesn't change, my days will be numbered.

When they reduce the moves to 15, they should also up the difficulty by a level. I wonder what the map would look like if they actually recalculated the difficulty after changing it. There is no way that clearing over 100 of frosting in addition to licorice and taffy is still easy.
OH I see what you are saying. My moves since reaching the 19 thousands has normally starred at 25 and up. Now it starts at 20 so yes they have dropped 5 moves. You're right about the dropped moves.
King has reduced the number of moves across all levels, usually by 4 or 5. If that figure drops below 15, it is set to 15.
My moves start at 20 not 15. So it's not across the board of players. King is sneaky. Someone else might have a different number. Unfortunately for you it's 15.
Thank you for the comments. This post is intentionally designed to be a riddle.
The answer is: King has reduced the move counts of almost all levels with remarkable uniformity, and capped the move count of many levels to 15. The downwards graph shows the likely revenue figures if King does not revert that redesigns. The last sentence shows that this change is sufficient for me to stop putting in effort to contribute to the community and wiki.
The first two figures represent the move counts and frequency histogram before King altered the move counts. The latter two figures represent the move counts and frequency histogram after.
@__mulliganaceous__ , I recognize and truly appreciate the effort you put into analyzing Candy Crush Saga data. While it might be obvious to other players, I would find it helpful to know the labels for your axes. The graphs look compelling, so I hope to understand the messages in your graphs.
@QueenB More impossible levels will be created.
