We have recently heard the suggestion re-emerge that having a high win streak is a sign of a "good player". I have always countered this argument by suggesting the exact opposite: The best players are those who know when to give up their win streaks.
I'd like to start a discussion on this. This definitely is a topic for which the verdict remains open.
I don't like it if newcomers are being told that in order to succeed in Candy Crush they need to keep hold of their win streaks.
Only the very best tech savvy players can keep hold of their win streaks for thousands of level without their gold bars running out.
My argument is that for the vast majority of players it is foolish to cling on to a win streak. It is a very costly way to play Candy Crush!
