Are you talking about your Episode/Champions Race. Can you remember if it showed you was in the Caramel Cup, if you was you needed to complete 3 Episodes to get gold.
If you wasn't in the Caramel Cup you will need to contact Player Support and explain what has happened. You can do that directly through your game, so they can check your account:
Open your game and click on the Pink Cogwheel, top right of your map, then go to β¬οΈ
Account & Help β Help Center β choose the relevant topic β scroll down β Contact Us / Chat With Us. When you get to Kingsley the bot, explain what has happened.
Once you've done all of that, you will receive an automated email reply, you will need to explain it all again on that, what has happened. It isn't a quick process but good luck, hope you get it sorted π
