The most boring level of Candy Crush... and is it going to get any better?

Hi guys, I'm nearing to where I got to with my last account and I'm losing the will to go on again. I must be working my way through the first entirely AI written levels, I mean the first where it was left on its own? This must be the worst of all the boring levels I've encountered:

Can this game get any worse? Last time (Poppy) I gave up 500 levels later and I now wonder if there is any point going further (with Cornflower)?

@MannyFae @Carol-38 @teenybee @quekkc are amongst my friends who have played levels 20,000-23,500. Is the AI getting any better at making levels? Is it worth playing on? I know that the frog has been removed from here on, but what about conveyor belts, magic mixers, candy cakes? Are those all gone? Magic wrappers, wonderful wrappers? Is the game now just order locks, sour skulls and layers of blockers? Or is it just this AI training phase that's so bad and it actually gets better and interesting again at some point? How about @Lindark , you keep posting how good the new levels are. Are there any interesting features or elements in them? @dia_candy Any thoughts on this?

And can anyone nominate a more boring level than 19, 519, for the lols?

Level 19519 has 26 moves for me, too. I don't think we're in the same test group; the boosters in the inventory must be the reason.

I have noted that the game gives different move counts now in my two games at level 700 as well, so it is interesting to see that this is also the case at these high level ranges. So it appears to be a universal thing now in Candy Crush. Thank you for sharing this @quekkc .

I will have to make some detailed notes using my two games at the lower level to try figure out if your booster theory is correct. Every time I think I'm getting bored with this game something new comes up for me to try work out and get stuck into. Why are they doing this? I mean, in my two games at level 700 the variable move counts seem to have no effect on the outcome of the level at all.

My version has only 24 moves. Perhaps the system adjusts the number of moves according to your booster inventory.

If I start the game with double Super Colour Bombs, it's not so bad.

There were some levels where even double Super Colour Bombs offered no advantage.

That would be possible and could account for her finding the levels easy and enjoyable. However, it does not explain the boredom issue, as this is part of the board design, which is the same for all players.

How are you finding the newer levels @cookiemae ? Are you just watching candies drop and levels self-completing for you, no matter what moves you make? Or do you feel challenged by these levels, get rewarded if you play the right moves or the right boosters? Is there any strategy element for you in these levels? How do you find them compared to those levels halfway down the game, just above level 10,000 (your other game)? That's what I'm asking here. Are the levels above 20,000 varied, interesting, challenging enough to bother with?

I don't see any improvements. Most levels require the same approach: powerful boosters. After struggling with keys and skulls, there are some simple levels, but none that really challenge you. I'm still playing, but I don't know how much longer I'll keep at it, because the fun has pretty much disappeared.

Yes, all these elements are still in the game. Wonderful wrappers appear rather often. Conveyor belts appear, too, and, it seems to me, more frequently than in the 19,000–20,000 range; evidently, the developers are trying to teach the AI to handle them, or at least have no intention of abandoning them just yet. Cake bombs and magic mixers also appear, though not as often as I’d like. However, there are no levels where orders drop, no levels where you have to figure out the right order to do things to succeed, no puzzles. Overall, it seems to me that they are trying to improve the AI responsible for level design, but the problem lies in King’s general philosophy: levels must be fairly simple, because players who launch the game to unwind don’t want any complexity. That appears to be the general trend in the industry as well. So, unfortunately, the situation is unlikely to change significantly for the better.

My answer @christinewupp is a big fat NO, it doesn't get any better. The majority of them require booster after booster including gold for extra moves. So as we've been saying for many years, brain power only needed to decide when to use gold and hard core boosters, which is practically every level 🤐

I'll carry on for the time being, but it's getting easier and easier not to bother. I'd love to know which levels Lindark finds so amazing and wonderful, all I can think is she is in a different group, and gets completely different levels to me 🤔

Still have everything you have mentioned in abundance and no way to clear them in the moves given. Also got the horrible Caramel Cup along with the horrible Music levels, so 💤💤💤💤 is how I'm feeling at present.
