Winning an Episode Race requires time, effort, and skill. Players have become accustomed to receiving Gold Bars for their accomplishments, and removing that reward significantly reduces the incentive to compete and continue progressing through the game. I also believe this change could negatively affect King's paying customers. Like many players, I have spent money purchasing Gold Bars when needed to help me get through difficult levels. If players can no longer earn Gold Bars by successfully completing episodes, there is less motivation to keep playing- and consequently less motivation to purchase Gold Bars. King's new "experiment" or "trial" should be on a voluntary basis, not mandatory on those of us who have been "chosen" to participate. I passed 2 episodes yesterday and did not receive Gold Bars. How many of you feel the same way?
