Are you talking about Episode race which gives 5 , 3 and 1 gold bars respectively. If yes then some other players have also reported it. So please check the above advises for troubleshooting but if it still doesn't help you the only way to get them back is player Support directly from the Settings of your game application.

@sc27 Hi and welcome, The only feature that currently gives gold bars is the episode race if you have the feature in the game other than that they can only be purchased
Another way to earn gold bars for your game is by the community contest area. there are always contests which give you the chance to win gold bars for your game. These contests can come in quite handy
