You can change your team by either creating a new one

How do I create a team?

To create a team is easy, just follow these steps!

Open the 'Power-Ups' from the map screen.
If it's visible, tap the 'Create' button beneath the Fantastic Five section of the Power-Ups menu.
Get creative and give your team an inspiring and unique name. (Remember, nothing you wouldn't want your Grandma to see!).
Choose your privacy. You can make your team a publicly visible group, so other people can join - or keep it between you and those you choose to share it with.
You'll be assigned the team creator and your player avatar and name will appear on the list.
If you are currently a member of a team, you'll automatically leave and become a member of your new one.

Unfortunately if you do not have custom fantastic five then there is no way to change teams as these are automatically assigned

There are two types of F5 features in the game at the moment.

1. Custom f5. If you have this feature then you can change your team by either creating a new one or joining already existing team. Click on your f5 feature and see if you get any option of Create or Join tabs.

2. Random f5. But if you have this feature where there is no Create or join button then you can not change your team as teams will be assigned by system randomly.
