Seems you were the lucky few to still have had the original Build a Bot.
Build a Bot changed many months ago, for most players, to the concept of the candy necklace; losing all boosters gained if a level failed, and only built playing new levels.
You are correct the candy necklace is inferior to the original Build a Bot
You will find many complaints about the change to the Bot if you care to look up.

I think the first prize should be striped+wrapped, not just striped. Striped candy alone is no booster. Also for 5 it should be 2 color bombs not 1.
