Hello and welcome to the sweet King community

Darling, popcorn is part of the game. It is one more objective of the game. Of course there is no way to avoid them 🤷 It would be like avoiding eliminating the gelatin and the chocolate

. I'm sorry you're not enjoying the game. In case I have misunderstood you and you are talking about another problem, please attach a screenshot and explain the problem If you are stuck at a level I can also help you, just tell me the level. Thanks and keep enjoying

There are some levels in which you can avoid the popcorn (ex. it's not necessary to complete the game), but on some levels you can't totally ignore it.

It can be hard to figure it out in the beginning, but it's really practical at times since it contains a color bomb.

Like @hechicerilla I'm happy to look at a particular level you're stuck at if that's the problem. :)

Hello there @hjodense and good day to you.

Understood that you were annoyed by the popcorn in the game. In fact, this feature is helpful once it is turned into color bomb. Below is some information about popcorn for your reading pleasure. Do share with us the level you are stuck with and we will try our best to guide you.

Popcorn is a stationary blocker occupying one space that takes three hits to clear. When it is hit by the effects of a special candy, the popcorn grows larger on the square upon which it sits. When it is hit a second time, it grows even larger and starts flashing. When it is hit a third time, it pops and turns into a colour bomb that can immediately be used by the player.

Note that unlike most blockers such as multilayered icingmarmalade or liquorice swirls, it is immune to adjacent matches! Also, popcorn blocks the effect of striped candies and their combinations, just like liquorice swirls, liquorice fence and liquorice curls. If a striped candy's effect hits a popcorn blocker, it will increase the size of the popcorn as described above, but the effect is blocked, so none of the candies beyond it are affected. Therefore, popcorn is possibly one of the strongest blockers in the game, considerably more so than the five-layered icing.

    • If a Popcorn is found inside a Sugar Chest, it keeps the resistance, but it cannot take damage before opening the chest.
      • However, there is a small difference between both versions. At the last stage, if a striped candy's effect hits popcorn, candies beyond it are also affected. This is only seen on the web version, while in the mobile version, candies beyond it are not affected.
    • A popcorn can appear under liquorice lock. This type of popcorn is even more durable, which can take four hits before destroyed.
    • Popcorn is a stationary blocker unless it is placed on the conveyor belt at the beginning. In this case, the popcorn moves along the belt.
    • If a lucky candy on a conveyor belt turns into popcorn, it will be popped immediately.
    • Newer episodes now have popcorn with lower durability. An exception is Level 773, right after their introduction.

You may also apply this general tips whilst playing CCS.

    1. Take your time and focus on the board.
    2. Study the game board before and throughout the game. Always play at the lowest level of the game board to enable more candies to drop from the top.
    3. The above will give you opportunity to create special candies such as striped/wrapped/color bomb. Combining a colour bomb with either a striped or wrapped candy will destroy any blockers.
    4. Activate the hint under the setting. This is a helpful tool as it highlights candies formation that you may have missed out especially color bombs. However, you may not necessarily always depend on it.
    5. Stay calm and be patience. Yes, our mood does affect the game! Take a short break if you're getting frustrated or tired of trying.
    6. Hope for a lucky game board.

Please let us know if you need help with other issues in the game.

    Thank you 😊

    Hi there @hjodense

Below is not the latest video but it has audio talk through on how you can destroy the popcorn and make it to good use. It may give you some guidance on how to proceed with the level even though it is outdated.

If you have decided to abort this game, thank you for staying with CCS for 772 level and I hope you will enjoy your new game soon!

Take care and thank you 😊

@hjodense Hi and welcome, Although popcorn can be a pain hitting 3 times to open you will also find them great on some levels as the color bomb it contains is extremely helpful. You just need to get used to the 3 hits to open

Video of level 772 below should give you some hints and tips on completing this level. If you can open both popcorn at same time you get to so color bomb combo which finishes the level easily

    Thank you

These are my tips for level 772 Candy Crush Saga

The ingredients in level 772 are blocked in by 2 popcorn squares at the start.

In order to allow the ingredients to fall down to the exits you need to remove the popcorn by hitting with blasts from stripes or stripe-wrap combos until they turn into colour bombs and release the ingredients. The popcorns have to be hit three times to grow them into colourbombs.

Once that´s done it´s a simple matter of getting the ingredients to the bottom and out of the exits.

You don't have many moves so you can't afford to waste any, look for chances to make special candies and combos with every move and as close to the bottom of the board as you can, but remember to look at the whole board before every move so you don't miss any chances to make combos to hit the popcorns

    🤞
