so far super easy, first episode 25 minutes, I still don't get the jarhead jellies they just take up space, there is no requirement to collect them and they don't give you anything when you do release them, it would make more sense if they gave you a booster when you released them.

I must agree that the jelly jar is so far a pretty pointless feature. You have to clear all the jellies in a level, and in levels with the jar you have to hit the jar a few times for it to provide you with the jellies.
A better idea, in my opinion, is that you have a number of jellies to clear a level, and if you hit this jar, it adds to it. Therefore, you would want to avoid setting it off to keep the number down.
