Candy Crush Saga Level 9879 glitch, not enough icing.

Hi, I’m stuck on Level 9879 as on my iPhone my target is to crush 18 icings but there are only 16 possible pieces on the board.
Every YouTube video shows a target of 16 and all of my friends have a target of 16.
When I have crushed 16, my board indicates that there are two remaining beneath the indestructible spawners.
Can you please look into this as it’s impossible to complete.

Yes definitely looks like needs reporting as there are only 16 icing available on the board. but would check you device and game are up to date, log out and clear the cache from safari (important even though app). restart your device and then log back in and see if this resolves your issue

Hi, I have done all of the above. My iPhone 11 also updated its software version yesterday too so the phone has restarted more than once. Thank you.

@Crusher1414 I noticed in your screenshot that your game highlights the chocolate spawners, which is strange! Perhaps it mistakes those two for tiles and expects you to blast them too in some way! Try hitting them with something like a wrapped-striped combo and see if this works! 🤷♀️

Hi guys, yes the game highlights that the icing is under the spawners but I’ve hit them with everything I have, multiple times. I’ve had combos right next to them and even tried UFO’s but to no avail.

Hi guys, I’m still stuck on this (what should be an) easy level having played at least 100 times hoping I might be able to somehow get through the spawners?
Still showing that I need 18 icings - rather than the 16 most other people need, and the last 2 being literally impossible to crush.
I have read where some other players also have this ‘glitch’
Any news @LindQ or any other devs yet please?
