Would it be fair to say that increased investment and resource should be directed at testing and quality control? Oversights can happen, and it is appreciated when they are acknowledged and addressed, but it does feel rather ridiculous when the very first level of a new release is so frequently flawed. It is frustrating when any level is found to be impossible, but even more so when someone has waited a number of days for new releases and then is immediately faced with an unpassable level (10116, 10266 etc). Win streaks are instantly lost, all lives are used as you are not aware at such an early stage that there is a universal design issue, and then follows an indeterminate wait whilst it is looked into. Trying to be fair and not moan - but first level design fails feels like avoidable own goals for all concerned.
