Feedback on levels 10 265 - 10 325

Has anyone had the Episode Race. From 10266 to 10280, I was getting the message the ER would start at 10281. I was all exciting as I moved to 10281, only to see the ER disappear. Surely if the ER is not going to be part of the game, it shouldn't be too hard for the Design Studio to remove it !!

Mine appeared and it kept saying it would start after beating 10266, i did that, it had changed to saying it would start at 10267, i did that, it changed again. Like you, it suddenly changed to 10281 as the target. At least i now know that means it is going to vanish, rather than start!

Not that i will be getting there anytime soon, stuck at 10279 which was clearly thrown out without any testing.

Rather than get rid of the ER, it would be even better if King simply restored the ER that worked. They've already done that, so it can't be that hard.

Particularly if idiotic levels like 10273 and 10279 are going to feature, the opportunity to win gold bars is vital to give you the opportunity to pay your bribe to pass these levels.

I'll make sure that the moving episode race is added onto the information that the responsible team already have! Sounds very strange to me 😕

@LindQ Can you ask the team something else about the Episode Race please?

A lot of people seem to think that the ER is a live event. That is, they think that the people in their ER are playing at the same time as they are.

Based on information that you get from the ER itself the ER is actually you racing against the record of how long other people took to complete the ER that you are competing in.

My question for the team is related to the issues those players at the end of the map experience with their ER

if the ER is you racing against a record of other players how many people must complete those levels before there is enough of a record for the ER to register them?

I can imagine that if you play new levels as soon as they are released there can be no previous record of other players times for those levels and hence nothing to base an ER on.

It seems to me that whoever wrote the ER routine didn't take this into account, so the Race starts, but then fails because it can't find enough records for comparison.
