Hello @LDBr I received an email when I completed level 2000, and my first thought was that it meant I was going to receive a banner for my in-game avatar. What I noticed about my email was that every link in the email tried to open Facebook. I don't use Facebook so the email links didn't work, but this led me to think that if I used Facebook I might have received a banner for my in-game avatar.
If you play through Facebook I would check to see if your in-game avatar now has a banner that says 2500.

I never received such emails for candy crush saga but I did receive them for candy crush Soda and Friends. the emails didn't specify I should visit the community and ask for badges but this is actually the only way. it's not possible to automatically win a badge when passing a milestone level in the game so we players come here in the community and share screenshots of our maps in specifics threads so community managers can manually add badges to our profiles.
Badge for level 2500 doesn't exist for any game so I'm not sure what your email means exactly but you can claim badges 1000 and 2000 for CCS if you visit Kiara's links.
This is part of the email I received for Soda. I didn't actually get a badge from it, I had to visit Soda community to collect it.
