Hi Jamiejill, please ignore my advice about clearing your app cache. I have searched on Google and I have found out that you can't clear the cache of an app on an iPhone. All you can do is clear the history of the Safari browser, which I guess you have already done.

In case you haven't done that here is how you do it. Make sure you know your passwords before doing this as it will log you out of your favourite Web sites.

Open the Settings app and select Safari.

Tap clear history and website data.

Accept the pop up that asks if you really want to delete your history.

    Restart your device.

That isn't quite the same thing as clearing the cache of an individual app though, and that is why you have been advised to delete the app. Deleting an app is the only way to clear the cache of an individual app on an iPhone.

You could try downloading a third party app such as PhoneClean by iMobie that will allow you to clear the cache of an app without deleting it.

One very last 'nuclear' option if nothing else seems to work is to try resetting your phone to its factory condition. This option isn't really recommended as a lot can go wrong if you don't know what you are doing.
