So sorry to read that you have lost your boosters
I have read feedback from many other players saying that they also lost boosters in the past couple of days
King always replace any purchased items that you have lost but as all free items awarded in the game are ''Nonrefundable, transferable, exchangeable and cannot be used in any other game," they generally do not compensate any free boosters that may have been lost.
For help in recovering boosters, please email Player Support Team here and add your user ID number. Find your user ID here
If you play on mobile, then go to the Start Menu - Settings - Cogwheel - Help Center - Purchases & Gold Bars. You will then find the 'Contact us' in the bottom of the page..

when you say king does not refund free boosters “earned “ while playing the game is not fair nor just , playing the game and updating our games is not free , time and other resources have been used to be able to download candy crush.
King should stop saying boosters earned while playing is not deed worth refunding is absolutely ridiculous, nothing is free it was earned and for what I earned I demand for the it to be restored to me .
Hi @fayth, boosters earned from rewards or purchased should be covered. You just have to talk with the player support team.
Like your self, I am a player just as you who in the past has lost boosters and gold bars.
I didn't report mine, but I encourage you to contact them for replacement of your loss

Updating your game App will depend on the device that you use to play on.
What device are you using?
A general answer would be to visit your game store (such as google play store) from where you got the app to look and download a pending update for your game App.
