A couple weeks ago, after updating my app, my avatar and name disappeared from the game, and opportunities to watch ads or purchase anything began failing to load at the end of failed levels ("Contacting App Store...").
My game progress (4176) and all my boosters are still there, and the app plays fine, but it looks like I'm playing without being connected to my account. Attempts to login generate the "There was a connection error. Try again in a bit." error. On a different device, with Soda Crush, I have the same issue. The games will allow me to change my password through them, but not to login.
Different devices (iPhone 12Pro and a Windows 10 laptop). Different games (Candy Crush app and laptop browser). Different locations with different wifi (which is connected and working great). This error isn't happening on the user side but is clearly some kind of account error in their servers.
You'd think King would want to fix it because I literally cannot generate ANY revenue for them right now and it's very unlikely that I'm the only one, but the problem just keeps dragging on. It's very frustrating.

You need to reinstall the game app after uninstalling to get the solution. Uninstalling the game app will cause you to lose all stored booster and unsaved levels but your problem will be solved.

Thanks, Havish. For as many times as I searched for info about my problem, I hadn't found that particular post. I have now sent a message. Hopefully I’ll hear back and it will be favorable.
Having same issues. None of there solutions work and I am not Uninstaller and losing prizes I have earned. They need to fix it!!!
Hi there, until you are sure you are connected, be weary of how many levels you clear. One time I was playing with what you are describing and I lost all my progress when I was able to finally connect. Just FYI!

So far they only sent me a form letter type of response, something spit out by a Help algorithm that told me all the very basic things to check (be sure you're logged in, wifi connected, etc). It directed me to the Community, where I'd already been, and where a previous posting says to contact them directly for this issue. I replied to it to let them know that it didn't solve anything for me and, frankly, wasn't even relevant since my email included the status of all those things. (For example, it's no use to mKs sure I'm logged in because it won't let me do that and that's the problem!) I have still not heard from an actual person, however, which is discouraging.
Now I can't even ask my friends for lives!! Someone needs to fix this

Your game app is corrupted and you need to reinstall it after uninstalling to get the solution. Uninstalling the game app will cause you to lose all stored booster, but if you continue to play the game without fixing the app problem, your game progress will not be saved.This means that the levels you are passing will not be saved since your game app started having problems because your game is unable to connect to the server.

A corrupt app isn't relevant in my case, so it may not be in Cora_Byrd's case, either. I have the same problem in a browser with King.com as I do with the app. This is a dev-side user account issue. They'll start I ayig attention when enough people report being unable to watch ads or make purchases.
Why would I have to Uninstaller in 3 different devices?? And lose all of my prizes I have earned?? King needs to fix the game. I'm not the only one having this problem
