All levels have moves removed after their initial release. This happens regardless of how difficult a level becomes due to the removal of the moves. This method of level 'design' is the standard at King now , so I would think you are correct in your assessment and it is time to fiend a more user friendly game.
I don't know what you think John, but I think this is at the root of the problem. Those without an inventory don't pay to play the game, so if they move on King don't even notice. King might have found that increasing the level difficulty increases the amount of money that those that pay are willing to spend. As long as this continues then King will continue to remove moves.
