Candy Crush Saga - Why have some of my scoring been reset?

Hello King Community,

I ask for help regarding an issue I have encountered in Candy Crush Saga.

Today, mysteriously, a large number of scores I recorded in the game reset: many levels are with just one star and a minimum score of 25000 points.

But this happened only for some levels: for example, in the first attachment the levels are correctly showing the true score, while in the second attachment the levels are set to just one star.


Could you please help me to solve this problem? I spent many hours in trying to reach the highest scores I could for each single level and this resetting to one star for many levels is annoying to me…

  • Explaining why you're above 1000 and having a rank below 30-40 you might have hacked the game. I don't know what happened

    Thank you for your time.

    I have not hacked the game: my correct rank should be 42, but I do not know why this is not synchronized between the two devices I use to play. One is correctly at 42, the other one not (at 15).

    I think I have a general problem with synchronizing the scorings, from the rank to the scores set to one star.

    I have already tried to sign out, turn off the devices, and the sign again, but it is stuck to this…

    Hello and welcome to the Community,

    I am looking at both of your screenshots and from what I see both are showing you at Ranking 15 neither of them show you Ranking at 42 as for your level 1000 I don't see it in your screenshot either.....and your Diamond Crown's along with your Gold Stars seem to be there as you have no screenshots to compare them to my friend but never fret as I will tag one of our Game Moderators who can assist you as he feels like he can do a great service to most everyone in the Community....tagging @Sukanta_Biswas he will answer you shortly my friend as I hope this helps you out.....have a great day my friend indeed 😉💯

    thank you in advance for the help.

    I try to summarize my problems:

    1. since a couple of months ago, the Candy Crush Saga scores stopped to correctly synchronize between two devices I have;
    2. initially, I did not noticed it and continued to play just on one device (“Device 1”). With this, I progressed in the game and passed about 100 levels;
    3. going back to the other device (“Device 2”) I noticed that not only the scores had not been updated, but also that the rank in “Device 1” reset. In “Device 2” I had reached rank 41 (sorry, I wrote 42 for mistake), while in “Device 1” I am now at rank 15 (I am not sure if it restarted from 0, or something higher);
    4. moreover, a couple of days ago many levels in “Device 1” reset to 1 star (with very low scorings). But this has not happened for all the levels, but just a part of them. The same levels in “Device 2” are not reset.

    I have attached three screenshots: the first one shows an example of reset levels (and the rank at 15) in “Device 1”; the second screenshot shows (again in “Device 1”) that other levels have not been reset; the third one shows the same levels range of the first screenshot, but in “Device 2” (and also the rank at 41), where they were not reset.

    In “Device 1” I reached level 1010, while in “Device 2” level 938.


    I hope that now the issue is clearer.

  • Yes, I got the information I needed from you.👌

    First, the game is not connected to the same account on both your devices, that is, two different game accounts.

    The game is running correctly on this device as per your screenshot and the game progress is being synced on the server.☝

    However the game app may have been corrupted on your other device and you can get the solution by reinstalling the game app. (Uninstalling the Game App will cause you to lose all stored boosters)

    If you don't get the solution even after reinstalling the game app, please let me know again.

    Only one question: if uninstall the app from “Device 1” (in which I progressed for about 100 levels), will I lose the levels I passed with respect to “Device 2”?

    Hi and Welcome to the Community.

    No you will not lose any progress by reinstallation if you have saved it through facebook or King account. You will also not lose any Gold bars. But you will lose your boosters and Lives on that device. The other device everything will be saved.

    I do not understand: Sukanta_Biswas said that “Device 2” is correctly synchronized being at level 938. In “Device 1” (the one supposed not to be synchronized) I am at level 1011.

    So either “Device 2” is synchronized and then the last level recorded by my account is 938, or it is not. So in any case I fear that I will lose the levels from 939 to 1011.
