Well... for me the hardest level lie between 2000 and 3000. I stucked in the level 2095& 2122 for many days. And in 2723 for more than 4 days. 3667(longest time) - for 2 weeks, and also 3755.
But ...yes, there are very hard within 4000-6000 too.(Until now, I got 4002, 4018, 4026 etc... as very hard levels)
