progress not syncing across devices

I've been playing on an ipad for some time, and I recently got an iphone. I'd like my progress to update on both devices, but it's not working. I saved my progress on the ipad with my email address, but when I log in on the phone, it only shows me at level 11 (I'm on 2963 on the ipad). My User ID is the same on both devices. Any suggestions?

I did all that, and my gold bars synced, but my level progress didn't. The ipad shows the correct level, but the phone still has level 11. Any other thoughts?
