I am on level 5674. I have no idea how that compares to others but, personally, I see it as quite an accomplishment. Last Thursday I commented on this thread and said that I would give it another week before deleting the game. However, after seeing now that there are no changes or updates planned regarding this dangerous issue, I am deleting the game tonight. Simply having the feedback passed on after suffering through this for more than two weeks is not enough for me to stick around forever. My health is much more important, and I could kick myself for wasting so much money on this game. I guess I will chalk it up to a lesson learned, and I hope that others follow suit before wasting anymore of their money.
I really do not understand King's attitude in ignoring this matter. It's not something like a grumble over the number of moves in a game, it's a very serious issue that could affect people's health. A player was saying to me this morning that they can still see flares and flashing in front of their eyes several minutes after playing. That can't be good for a person's eyesight.
Exactly, they really need to wake up over at King's. I was assured a while ago that they do care. But with this??? To me it's showing the opposite (again). It should be fairly easy to remove these horrible visual effects from the game, just like they were added to the game overnight pretty recently.
I've been chatting to some other players about this issue over the last few days and there does seem to be quite a bit of anger about it. I have picked up a few tips though on how to deal with these flashing and flaring effects. Popular tactics seem to be wearing sunglasses, avoiding matching blue skate candies, or covering the screen between moves. I'm finding covering the screen works best for me.
Disappointing though that we have to resort to these tactics. If King are going to persist with these flashing effects, which are making some people's eyes uncomfortable or could possibly trigger epileptic fits, then perhaps we could have the option of a button to turn them off like we can with the sound effects?
Why is this still ongoing @Crazy Cat Lad? What part didn't you understand when I said: These "snow-explosions" shouldn't be happening at all? These nasty effects just don't belong in the game. You really are playing with the health of a whole lot of people here. Please show us that at least you care as much as I do myself. Thanks in advance.
Have a nice day...
Do we know how much long these wretched blue skates with their snow explosion effects are going to be in the game for? I have many friends who have had to stop playing because it's making their eyes uncomfortable. It would be good to be able to tell them when it's safe for them to return.
