Since the update, I cannot get this app to open. I have been playing for a very long time. I have uninstalled and reinstalled a dozen times. I have turned on and off the iPod a dozen times. I have wiped and reset the iPod several times. I have closed every running app and also uninstalled all apps possible. It goes to the orange "King" screen and says loading. I hear the popping sounds then it just goes back to the home screen. Apple's answers are always to go the the developer. I have spent a lot of money playing this game. I find it ridiculous that I can not open it on my iPod any longer. Every thread I have read has not received any kind of actual solution from the developer nor the makers of the devices they are running on.
Yes my device is supported. It is an iPod touch 4th gen running iOS 6.1.6 and worked fine before. This is the only app that will not open. It continually crashes on the orange screen. If it's a one off case then it's not gonna be something King nor Apple can fix. It's something you need to look into. First thing I would do is check that your device actually supports the game:
Same here - also having the same issue with Farm Heroes - happened as soon as I updated the apps.If it's a one off case then it's not gonna be something King nor Apple can fix. It's something you need to look into. First thing I would do is check that your device actually supports the game:
Yes, I can confirm that this game no longer works on iPod Touch 4. I'm sure King could make Candy Crush Saga work on this device again if they wanted but no one from King is interested in investigating this. According to the entry on iTunes, Candy Crush Saga will work on iOS 5 upwards, but it clearly does not.
