Hi - I've been playing for many years, and know that if you clear your cache completely then any saved lives given by friends will disappear. That way I've lost many hundreds over the years. However, in recent weeks it's becoming a very regular occurrence, not through a cleared cache, just through switching Facebook on and loading up the game. Every few days I can guarantee the lives I've stored up to help with tough levels have disappeared and I'm receiving 'useful information' such as what all the different elements of the game are! Is there a reason that the game seems to be regularly reverting to a 'start from scratch' set-up? It's infuriating to have built up a stack of spare lives and as soon as you go to use them, they have been swallowed up and gone. Surely the current frequency of this happening - at least once a week - can't be right?

I have noticed that this happens if I play via Facebook on the computer, instead if I play from the mobile app, (always connected to Facebook), the lives remain even for months. Likely Facebook auto update to computer deletes lives as well. Keep in mind that the Facebook update is automatic on computer and automatically updates the game as well.
However, try not to save many lives, a full mailbox can affect the game's functionality.

Useful to know the issue is something that's being monitored and you're aware of it! I know that the system isn't perfect, but if there's a fix found in the end, all will be well.
I play only thru Facebook. If my laptop refreshes for any reason, when I re-enter Candy Crush all my lives are gone! It's very frustrating as it just happen - I had 50 lives and now they are GONE! My plays in one game get reset to 1st game played so I don't get extra moves while attempting to complete a difficult level........ PLEASE FIX!!!!!

How do I explain the frustration I feel right now? I can't, because I'm fuming!!
Like many others here, I have lost hundreds of lives when i clean the cache in my pc. I play both, phone and PC and never had an issue on the phone. This is UNFAIR. cleaning your cache should have nothing to do with the lives you have saved on a game you are logged in. I have played many games in the past and Candy Crush is the ONLY game that does this!!
Here's a situation: I spend $$ buying lives. My pc starts lagging. I decide to clean the history, etc. Come back to the game and my paid for lives are GONE! not to mention the lives others have gifted me. This is #UNFAIR and #UNJUST. I should be compensated my lives back or the $$ spent in this game!!
#CandyCrush developers, this is one issue you all really need to address! I am speaking on my behalf and I truly believe on behalf of millions of people who like me, are addicted to #crushing!!

Still happening - June (problem started prior to June) to now & still happening...... how long does this take to fix this major problem!!!! Losing lives still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Still having problems with losing lives or game status restarting during my play and then my built up of times on 1 achievement is started from play 1 rather than play 6 on that game..... so I lose the build up of added bonus as assistance! Now tonight I bought item with maybe 24 hour lives &/possibly 24 hour assistance with some assistance to begin games...... I stepped away & game restarted/refreshed and lost the item I had just purchased for $14.99 I think thru meta platform........ hope it gets added back..... this losing lives if SO FRUSTRATING!!!!!
