The screen shots are from all stats features and there are no rewards given from those.
At first I thought I needed to update the app and I checked and there was no update available. I then deleted and downloaded it and I still received the same message. I always go in and check to see if the chocolate box is active, but I always receive the message.

That message should only appear to you after completing 3 box tasks. There is a daily limit in the Chocolate Box with maximum 3 tasks a day.
You should see the timer indicating when the next task will be available. Do you still see that message when the timer expires?
Yes… I would complete the box and I would start the box the same day and when I reach the last task I know I wouldn’t be able to complete it and I will go back the next day to finish it off and I see the timer. I would go back the next day and the timer would activate once again.
Have you already tried logging out and back into your account to see if that solves the problem?
Yes, I tried it on more than once. I know it can be a bit janky if it needs to be updated.
Keep an eye on the update and try turning your device off and on again.
