I understand how the lives and the mailbox works. My problem is not getting the lives that friends are sending. The envelope that held lives that were sent in the past has been empty for days even though I know lives have been sent. I keep seeing that others are having the same problem but do not see any answer as to why we are not getting lives.
I have been playing for many years and very surprised that Candy Crush has not solved the problem of players not getting lives that have been sent by friends. You keep sending messages that you understand; but that does not help us that need lives to continue to play. As I have said, I see I am not the only one having this problem; but no answer has to help us.
Hello @parlady99 it could be that you are suffering from an issue that was supposed to have been fixed. It was awhile before anyone here acknowledged the original problem, so I fully expect that you will not get any kind of response that explains your issue this time around as well.

Can you share a screenshot of your mailbox please, so that we can see what is going on.
Some things to consider though.
Are you getting any lives at all in the day? Do you get to use your acceptance limit? Have you got more lives stored than your storage limit allows?
If you have a store of lives such that your mailbox says something like 309/200 then it doesn't matter how many lives your friends send you as you will not receive them.
If you get enough lives to complete your daily limit then you will not receive any more lives from your friends.
I have contacted support several times on this issue and lost $$ with no response other than referring me to topics on these issues. I have problems like others since changes have been made. I at the point, I don't play as often as due to huge limitations on receiving gifted lives. Only lives I now get are ones that accumulated set by the timer. I have also noticed even the lives and request for lives from other players don't add up to what is in my inventory. Strange. Ridiculous on how the changes only make numerous complaints that go to the way side. I wonder what was their actual intent because it certainly isn't satisfying us players. They will lose in the end if not already. Oh so now I can't even send this response. Ya thank you CCS for changing the best on line game ever to the most unlike one.

Thanks for your comments and letting me know that I am not alone in not getting lives. My mailbox has been staying grey for about three weeks now. I have not gotten any lives from my friends and I know that they have sent them. I do not have any stored and have never gotten to the acceptance level. So far, no response from Candy crush has said anything I don't already know and they keep sending me to a site that tells me nothing helpful.
I am guessing that the only reason for this problem is that they think people will spend money to get more lives. As if, they haven't made enough money with us buying boosters. Not going to happen anymore. I will quit before I spend anymore money on an issue that they can correct.
Thanks for the reply @parlady99 from what you say then it does appear as if the old issue of some people not being able to receive any lives at all has returned.
I totally understand your frustration with the lack of reasonable answers, but unfortunately there is nothing I can do to fix your problem as I am just a player like you are.
@Crazy Cat Lad @bearwithme @QueenB can one of you please let the Game Team know that an issue they were supposed to have fixed is still affecting people.
