I can't really vote until more information is available as even though 20 million gold bars sounds like a lot it is just 12.5 gold bars each when shared between the 250 million regular players of Candy Crush.
Also after the debacle of the last few events I really can't see this event being any different.
To look at it another way let's say the Pot of Gold is as generous as Candy Royale and provides those that come first (and only first) with 500 gold bars. That means only 40,000 people can win and that represents less than 0.1% of the player base.
