I was in the same boat! I'm in the 12000+ levels and for the life of me I couldnt get past any levels without spending a bunch of lives, gold bars and/or boosters. I signed up for this to get tips, and I was not surprised to see all the negative feedback on the levels.
I started a discussion board on this, you can see that a lot of people feel the same way

I agree with you!! I started spending money as well because I was having fun. With these hard levels and so called "easy" ones that can take multiple lives. It's not fun at all! someone needs to lose their job because they clearly do not understand the connection players have with candy crush! Can you please post in my discussion board? You can just copy and paste what you commented here! Its pretty active and I just want everyone to read what has been posted on individual boards. It gets lost on the "recent discussion" page because the of those stupid "count up" threads

Thank you for sharing this! I was actually going to look up who owns this game. I get that all businesses want to make as much profit as possible, but at least have some class about it.
Also isnt it ironic how they say that the change is due to people accumulating lives and not sending it daily? But how can people accumulate all those lives if they arent sharing it daily?? 🙄

I was curious on how the company was doing overall, found this article that stated King has lost 11 millions players since March 2022.
There was a leadership change as well, new CEO. Most likely the CEO replaced the executive team with his own. Some may point out that he has been there for 10 years, but the CEO will have his own vision that is different from the previous one. It is very normal when you are at that level and there is a CEO change, that you may be "structured out" , as the saying goes "it's not personal, it's business"
Thirdly, their stocks are at low point comparative to last year, which is most likely attributed to the recession. I am not a stock expert.. so if anyone is, can you shed light on whether this would push King to increase revenue?

Lastly, there was a recent article that King has lost 11 million players since March. I originally thought maybe that is part of the reason why they may have done the limitation of lives. I'll admit, I had very tunnel vision on it because how frustrated i've been with Candy Crush. However, @Alienscar brought to my attention their Q2 results. Which I truly appreciate because it made me look into it more! At their lowest revenue earning it was 499 million in 2019 Q2 and then in 2021 revenue was 600+ million and continue growth up to 2022 Q2 which posted at 684 million. Between keeping the momentum of the revenue + loss of players + low stock price, could it be why they are putting in place life limitations, increase prices on in-app boosters/gold?

The auto response from @kiara_wael is so dumb, and I am not saying the mod is dumb, I am saying who ever drafted this response (most likely the Communications team) can't even get it right. They say it is to precent accumulating lives and sending it daily like it should... but how can everyone accumulate lives if they arent sending it to one another daily?

I totally agree! I have been playing since the game came out. I have so many lives and spent ones I play slot more than 20 times when I am trying to get the daily chocolate game completed OR when I have timed boosters for over am hour. This is ridiculously the most stupidest rule they could have came out with. Not a happy fan who has been playing for many many years.
