NEW FORMAT OF CANDY CRUSH SAGA

Lynette L - I like many others are not happy about the new format; but I am sure we will get used to it. What I don't like and hope will change, is that now I am not able to ask only my Candy Crush friends for lives. It is very annoying to those not on Candy Crush and annoying to me to have to go through and check only those that are on CC. I am sure the technicians can come up with a way to only ask Candy Crush friends for help like we were able to do on the desktop version.

I don't know why they do this crap. They attempted to change the game design a few months ago too. Besides looking awful the new version lags like crazy. Leave it alone King - no one likes these new versions. Just leave the design alone and don't change anything - just make more levels and move on. Why do you feel it necessary to screw around with a good thing - makes no sense!

New set up on PC is not so nice...when I play the lower levels it keeps coming back to the latest level and then I have to scroll all the way down again...also the candies collected on a level got doubled when you cleared the level not liking that feature being removed

I don't know why you folks continue to lie to us. The link you posted says that the game has not changed. It has. Drastically. The changes are awful. The lies are worse.

Most of us do not like change, especially when it's a favorite thing (game) that is being changed.
Candy Crush Saga had to be changed - our browsers will soon not support Flash any more.
I'm sure the King developers have done the best they can and that a lot of testing and research has gone into the new format.
Instead of all the complaining and demanding that it be 'put back how it was' why don't we try to work with King and actually make this version how we'd like it?

Sure, it had to be moved to a new platform, but they didn't have to make it terrible. Not knowing what level you're in? Bumping you back up to the 2600s when you're trying to play in the 100s? Completely changing what specials can be brought in? About 2 dozen more changes I could list? King has specialized in making sure there is an uneven playing field since the inception of this game. This is the worst iteration of that.

The newer version DOES NOT use fewer resources!! Total nonsense! It uses between 1-2 megabytes of memory to load, then starts at 500K and goes up from there. This is 2-3 times the memory it used before.And who are you to tell us that it's "never going to be changed back"? A secret King employee? Also, we don't need your judgement on what is proper or improper! The "new" old version stinks!!! You don't get to tell people how to think or express their opinions.

the mobile version takes 4 minutes to load on my PC, and the slowdown is unbearable. Unless this is fixed, I will stop playing this game.

Is this change applyed to every FB player? Or just us?
My FB changed several months ago, and I send message to customer care and they changed it back. That seemed to be an internal issue rather than a real change.

Yes. Do you mean Candy Drops? Yes, in the old version, they got doubled if the level passes and not doubled when it fails.

Furthermore, the music settings is not saved. I have to turn off sound effect and music everytime I login.

Moreover, when loading playing some levels (i.e. those have 9x9 board), the RAM usage can be as high as 900MB on firefox (split process enabled, more if in single process mode). I hope RAM usage won't exceed 2GB in the future.

I appreciate the effort to move the game from Flash platform to HTML5. What we don't like is the modification of the game. If you just change platform without modifying the game (in that case we maybe unnoticed), no body will complain here.

I completely agree. Could you at least give us the option of asking only our Candy Crush friends for a life instead of all of our friends? Having to check each one is a pain.

OK LOOK MAYBE IN TIME WE CAN GET USED TO THIS FORMAT.I HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR TWO DAYS I STILL DON'T LIKE IT. MY SUGGESTION IS THAT YOU GIVE US THE DOUBLE POINTS ON THE SUGAR DROPS, REDUCE THE PRICE BACK TO WHAT IT WAS, AND MAKE IT EASIER TO GO UP AND DOWN WHILE PLAYING OLD LEVELS, AND PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT NOT GOING BACK TO THE TOP EVERY TIME I COMPLETE AN OLD LEVEL ITS A REAL PAIN

Not good. No more doubling up on the c candies when you win. No more having every new level have the c candies. I don't understand the spaceship thingies that you can get the more levels you win. Not liking it nearly as much as I did yesterday. Blah!

yes I miss the double up on c candies too.....and the thing that scrolls a whole page, now I have to keep scrolling to get to levels for extra c candies and it takes forever, if only they'd bring back at least these two things
