Candy cup event?

I did not get any notifications about this event, My husband just told me about it and I play this way more then he does! Im so upset can I still qualify??

Hello @Cristi24 unfortunately it is too late for you to qualify as the qualifying rounds finished on the 23rd of September.

I was playing and competing very happily on the Candy Cup -- I started playingin the Quarter Cup around 0300 this morning. And suddenly it has disappeared from my screen. Nothing in the Events tab either. I hate to keep playing and collecting green candy if it will not count and I only have 12 episodes left before I run out of new episodes.

Is it disabled -- or did I just lose access to the game?
