📩 Email notifications: customise your experience in the forum!

Check out the information below and learn how you can customise the email notification you receive following these steps:

➡️ On a mobile device:

• Once you are log in, tap on your avatar in the upper right corner of the screen:

• Then, tap on the little bell at top of the page:

• Tap on the 'Adjustments' icon at the right side:

• Customise your experience by ticking/unticking the notifications you want to receive
• ❗❗Lastly, very important, don't forget to click/tap on "Save Preferences". Scroll down to the bottom and you will find the save option.

➡️ From a PC/Laptop:

• First of all, tap on the little bell at top of the page:

• Then, tap on the 'Adjustments' icon at the right side:

• Customise your experience by ticking/unticking the notifications you want to receive
• ❗❗Lastly, very important, don't forget to click/tap on "Save Preferences"

That's all!

but..is the little button of notifications alerts not supposed to appear in the mobile layout anymore? not even on the avatar logo? I can't see if I got messages right away now, I have to actively go search for them and it's not great at all :(

the laptop layout works fine. *edit well actually, the button of notifications keeps on staying on even after opening the messages. clearing the browser cache doesn't solve it but manually clicking "mark all read" does.

I hope everything will be worked out eventually :)

Hello there, @Pounawea ! A Magnificent Monday to you!

I know that this thread is for Mobile E-Mail Notification Customization. Since there is nothing for Desktop, I am just going to share my opinion of the New Layout. Although Language Switching is available, I still prefer the old layout. The number of E-mails in the Notification is like a tiny speck on the Page. I have a 32" Computer Screen and yet it looks so very tiny or minute. The only thing that makes it visible is the red circle. The original green was much pleasing to the eye. The number of mails don't disappear even when the mails are read. With the old layout, it was automatic.

To be honest, I don't use my iPhone for checking my King Community Notifications. I use my Desktop all the time.

Hello!

Today I had it in the old state during the day and now the new one at a later hour. And should I tell you something: I don't like it. It is unsightly. The old was better for me. What do I want with the ball of language. I only need it in my language in German and I am here via Chrome and always switch back and forth in German and English. For me it was easier and nicer before. You could have left that.

I am not getting notification when I have mail, the lay out looks outdated to me, this is just my opinion NO harm meant by it

Reducing the COVER PAGE SIZE made everything looks so unbalanced.

Changes are only good if these improve the Community Page. If it doesn't, why change it if it isn't broken?

PLEASE BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL LAYOUT! IT WAS MORE PLEASING TO THE EYE!!!
