Not getting boosters

I'm not getting the boosters that I'm "winning" with the Pick a Pumpkin feature. I've lost 30 minutes of colorbombs, striped/wrapped, and coconut wheels a few times. This is just like the Fantastic Five feature, where I almost never got the boosters that I supposedly won. I can't count the number of times I lost boosters with that feature.

The game seems to be getting harder, which is ok with me, but don't offer the boosters then fail to deliver them. It's extraordinarily frustrating to not be able to use the boosters that the game says I've earned on a difficult level. I'm done with having to buy gold bars because I don't have the boosters, and I'm pretty much done with the game at this point, after having played it for 8 years.
