This has happened to me several times too- always when starting with a free booster.
Do they EVER test levels with only one possible starting move to see what happens if you have a booster that you didn’t choose to use? I doubt it.
The only option I see when playing these is to use up your timed booster by replaying old levels. A complete waste of the booster and precious limited lives, of course, but marginally less infuriating.

I would think that they retest every level, but I am beginning to think that they don't care, as long as they get money!! I was finally able to pass it, but it took a lot of lives and a UFO booster!! I am so furious!! First, they don't check them, then they limit our lives!!! I hope they will pull their heads out of their ass!!!

Tired of the pop ups asking for money, doing nothing but losing with no hope of winning due to so few lives available. Game has become a HEALTH HAZARD!!!! 😡

Well, it’s Saturday. My usual Candy Crush marathon day. But I’m out of lives and am going to read a book. Thanks King. You’re saving me money and allowing me to increase my knowledge.
Great book and only $10. You can also get books for free at the library. Let’s all use this stupid update to gain intelligence and support hard working authors.

When we win free candies, you should think about unlocking our lives, that would be nice

Does everyone else find this way of playing tedious and pointless. If I can't really get stuck in to a level until I pass I am increasingly losing interest in playing at all. I don't understand the reasoning behind this change.

I use to try to win the episodes and now I could care less with the 20 lives cap, I only play on occasions now, this game has almost completely lost me as a player.

Of course the ridiculous 20 lives is so bogus. They're the ones that give you the timed boosters, you should be at least able to play them out. Another thing about time boosters I don't like, if they give you a package of them and you stuck on a level you don't get to use say the fish or the coconut wheel because there aren't used on the level you're playing.
What makes me angrier than anything else I've encountered in my 10 years on Candy Crush is how they cheat you out of your either you won the boosters or you purchased them. I take screenshots every time because I'd say seven out of 10 times yes 70%, they short me on my winnings or purchases. I have to check every single time. And then when I contact them and they email me back I've got so many that I can't remember the exact situation at the time so now I started putting notes right on my screenshots. The problem is it takes up so much of my time that I would much rather use playing. And sometimes this makes me lose out on races or quest to competitions etc. King never makes a mistake when they need to take the money out of your account or anything else they want to take away from you. But they sure make a lot of mistakes when it's to your benefit. And say you won two things of timed boosters. It's kind of nice to have two things playing on your side at the same time. But they don't give you one of them so now you are playing them singly which yes an advantage but not as great of one. They do such slimy stuff I am ready to throw in the towel after 10 years just for this alone. Then came along the limit on lives whoa, I think after the candy cup It's Time to say goodbye. I will miss it and I will miss everybody here as well but they got to start thinking about the loyalty of the players and not themselves my goodness. They're so cheap and shady.
