Still can't receive lives after the new "update".

Lost all the saved lives I had and cannot receive them from friends. This is on a laptop and an android phone. Neither will accept given lives. Does anybody have any suggestions? Am I the ONLY one?

No, weird. A page comes up but nothing will load. I will keep trying.

@Soupie_Doo the Friend function can be very temperamental I have found.
On mobile make sure your game is open and then press the home button to close all the open windows.
Open chrome and then this message. Click on my my link and see if it works when you try that way.
I have also found that if your game has a pop-up appearing (such as the Challenge a Friend) this will stop the friend link working.
You could also try sharing your friend link and I will see if that works for me.

@Soupie_Doo, are you playing on mobile? The link launched the game (it was already running anyway) and rest was a matter of 2 clicks.
Coincidence or not, got the Machine jackpot for the first time in 5 months (ever, actually). 😃
What update are you referring to anywayz? Android app market says last update was on 23rd Sept.
What does Support say?

Thanks @Doondie the friends links can be odd at times so thanks for letting me know it is still working
I would guess the 'update' referred to is the removal of the Candy Cup from the home page of our games and the little video that appeared to inform us of the Halloween feature.

Sorry all, had to go out and just saw these. Will try your suggestions. Had someone sit next to me and send me a life and that was yesterday... still haven't gotten it on either device. Technology hates me.

The update when they announced they were limiting lives you can store from friends a few months back.
