Game not connected, or some other reason, you may face such problems. You can check out some troubleshooting below.
Check app update - Log out game - Restart Device - Open game and Log in.. If not works , You mush Reinstall your Game but You will lose your booster
If You dont have Facebook . You can create a Kingdom account in a couple of minutes to start saving your progress.
With a Kingdom account, you’ll be able to protect your progress, make the most of social features, and play on different devices.
You must need a PC to complete the process.Please check HERE.

Have you tried creating a King account?
Choose "Sign up with email", then register with your details.
Just make sure you do not reinstall the game, as without an account you would lose not only your boosters, but probably your level progress and friends as well.
Better contact Support from inside the game.

Yes, I created a King account. However, following your instructions, after selecting Candy Crush Saga under the Games tab, there is no option to Save the progress. I am not able to conatct the Support directly from the game as I am getting the message that there is a connection error. :(
Can you please let me know is there any other option to save the progress?
