How it works!
The event has two rounds, Qualifier and Final, with reskinned blue candies, Blue Moon!
Fill out the progress bar to win a reward and play the Final Round for stellar prizes!
The Qualifier Round starts on the 10th of January and ends on the 12th!
You need to complete the first round to participate in the Final. Look out for special blue candy; they are very rare, so keep an eye out for them.
You will need to match 7 blue moon candies with the regular blue candies to collect them and reach the target to make it to the Final.
The Final starts on the 13th of January and ends on the 16th!
Leaderboard event. Compete against each other on a leaderboard (Collect Blue Moon Candies).
Only the Top 5 winners on a leaderboard will win rewards.

I have collected the moon candies and matched them with other blue ones, so I am now qualified for the finals.
Hope there would be no glitch.
In the last winter event I made it to the finals and made it to the top 10. I should have made it to the higher rank if not for a glitch. I was on my way to reach the top. Took a break and switched phone. When I played again I was on the bottom and lose all my points. I was back to zero.

With the farce over the gold bar competition where even if you qualified you didn't get the final challenge to actually win the bars, don't forget to get a.screen grab of the screen when it sags you've qualified.
Support can't tell you that you're lying then.

I gotta say it was too easy to collect the blue moon candies. Only 7 were needed and they could be collected from a single level. It would've made more sense if only one appeared every other played if not completed level, or at least at every 500 blue candies spawned. Could've added a timer to the special ones too as to make it an actual mini challenge.
I would've expected a better reward too. Did you not evaluate Winter Cup feedback? Players were clearly unhappy with just a couple of boosters for the huge amount of time and effort invested. Hope you amend the actual competition rewards after next stage.
In addition, it also needs to be possible to see what we're actually competing for. Is there a list of rewards? Will rewards be visible in-game this time around? Pretty sure many players wouldn't have been so disappointed had they known it wasn't worth the effort and resources before joining the Winter Cup.
