Dexter challenge miscounted candies
My original post about this issue was never answered, grateful for CCS to provide a prompt reply to my question below as I’m still experiencing the same issue during Dexter’s challenges. Especially on levels like 665 where you need to create 50 striped candies to pass, I can pass every time but the Dexter count always end up less than 50, what’s the deal there???
”On several levels I've noticed that my striped candy counts were not correct, especially after swapping a striped with a choc ball, where there would be over 10 striped produced, but end of game striped count ends up being only 2 or 3, what's the deal here?! Disappointing to know that I've been robbed of my final challenge position because of simple counting errors!”

Hi Elsa, thanks for finally getting back to me. Yes I was still experiencing the same issue as of yesterday, when I last played Dexter’s challenge. As said previously on level 665 where you need to collect 50 striped candies to pass, I passed the level but Dexter’s count was only 23, on earlier levels where I’ve combine a choc ball with striped, there should be at least 10+ striped, but Dexter’s count ends up only 7 or 8. Very disappointing!

I don't know how the count actually works. I'm going to pass this along to a King Admin to see if she has any idea on how it works.

@Katie thanks for sharing this with us, I am not sure what is happening here I am sorry. As I understand the correct and equal about of striped or orange candies should be counted. Has it always worked this way for you, or is this a new problem?
Is anyone else having this problem? Please let us know in King Care so that we can check this for you.

I first noticed this issue about 6 months, as you can see from my original post 6 months ago that I was experiencing miscounted striped candies, the final number of Dexter's number never matched the numbers that I could actually see on my screen whilst playing. Especially for a level like 665, where you need 50 striped to pass, it really makes no sense that I can pass the level, but having Dexter display less than 50, as rule of the game is that Dexter's count only valid if you pass the level. So if I was able to pass the level, which means Dexter's count should also be 50, right?
Another player Dag Ingebretsen, also commented on my original post 6 months ago with the same issue. My original post was never answered by anyone at King Care.

Hi Czediamond and Elsa, just wondering if you’ve found an answer to my question above regarding the miscounted striped candies during Dexter’s challenge? Pretty frustrating that it’s dragged on this long without an answer.

Hi Katie, I haven't heard anything yet. Sometimes it takes a little bit of time before they can figure it out so hang in there and hopefully it will be resolved soon.

@Katie thanks for getting back in touch, this has been escalated, however, as we do not have other complaints of this nature it means that we do not have a lot of data for this to be investigated.
I have passed it on but it may take a some time to resolve without data from a larger group of players.
