Candy box issue
I used a booster in a level to complete a candy box category and the game didn't recognize it so it looks like I didn't use one although it's gone from my booster count. It's the confetti cone so I only had a few to start with and I don't want to waste another if it doesn't work. What gives?

What device are you playing on?
Make sure you don't relog/switch accounts or restart your browser after selecting a Chocolate Box task. This could make it bug out and not register task progress. You can change tasks or restart the game (if playing on mobile) to let the box reload. I can't guarantee you it will work though, so better don't use another Party Booster. It's actually more expensive than what you can get from that box.
There's also gotta be another task that doesn't require the use of active boosters - for example win new levels or levels from the first try. Is this not an option for you?
