Sounds like it's a problem that's not specific to browsers, then. I'm constantly robbed of lives, delaying my gameplay and making me less interested in playing overall. I can't see why there's no-one thinking that it could be a problem for King, rather than the browser, as it's obviously on a different browser?
What makes you think it's not only a browser version issue? No-one's reported losing stored lives on a regular basis on other platforms.
As for whose fault it is - of course it's King's fault, not browsers'. Just like the forced portrait or baby landscape mode. The browser displays what the game devs tell it to. Unlike screen size, the life resetting bug doesn't happen to everyone.
As a Windows user, have you tried the desktop version you can get from the Microsoft App Store?
Because someone else mentioned it happened to them on their Mac?
No, I like the game on FB, that's the convenient place for me to play. I'll just carry on with it there, but it seems a problem that has affected quite a few in different situations, so is worth mentioning.
Every time I reload the game I get a reset of donated lives; click 'refresh' and it either wipes out lives or gives you a few more. It seems totally random.
How about finally following the advice I gave you 7 weeks ago? 🤔
Since you have a Windows PC, you should download the standalone desktop version. This means it's an independent program you can start with 1 click. I'd say THAT's convenient, not through Facebook's website.
Just go to Microsoft's App Store and install it on your computer.
You can create a desktop shortcut or pin it to the taskbar for even faster navigation. You can then log in using your Facebook account or King account. Next time you start the game it will be already logged in. What's better is that your boosters are shared.
Good luck! 👍
