I liked having a "bird's eye" view of the kingdom, to see what's ahead and behind.

Hate it. So very small, I might as well go back to my iPhone instead of the iPad in portrait. Will stop playing if the new map stays as is. Please leave well enough alone.

Sour! I don't like the new saga map... (please tell us why)
I dislike the new map because it’s really difficult to see how many levels you have left in your area. Also the strange 3D effect makes me dizzy. I think there should at least be an option to switch back to the old map for players who prefer it over the new map.

Didn’t get new map but hate the enforced portrait mode that has happened yet again! Sorry I still don’t like it and on iPad it’s inconvenient too. I won’t be playing but will wait and see but if this is permanent and if it is then it will be time for CCS and me to say goodbye and part company. There are now loads of similar games.

Don’t like it at all - portrait has made it so much smaller and I just can’t see it well enough now. Sadly if this permanent can’t see me being able to play anymore 🥲

I’m so glad I’m not the only one and I’m sorry you’re experiencing the same problems. I really hope they listen and act on it. I don’t recall a single outcry for a new map and I feel like they felt the need for a dramatic, new “trendy” update as it is the oldest of the games and very routine, but in my opinion that’s what makes it the best of them all. A but like film sagas, the first tends to be the best.
