The TOP CLIMBER event re-appeared in my game, and the tracker has been working the whole while 😄 Thanks for the fix, hope no mishap again along the way, another 44 hrs to go.

Plain reason for not using boosters and gold bars: Most of the time I didn't have to use additional boosters, other than the starting ones that came with win streak, and rarely did I have to use gold bars to have extra moves.
And pl do not put your own words in my mouth, to me not having enough new levels to join in some events is a handicap, that I gladly accept, never ever complain to Kings to add more new levels. Gone were the days I played hundreds of levels a day, to match my wife's progress. That was fun though. We're both enjoying our semi-retirement stage here.
Pl be mindful of your choice of words too, in your subsequent post:
"Please don't act greedy, and say that this event is unfair, because you have enough boosters and gold bars in the game."
Wanting to win in a game event is acting greedy? It's part of the fun in the game!

I agree. I never bother with these types of events. The leaderboard changes every time you close and reopen the game or finish another level. And even if it weren't rigged, you'd waste far too much time playing to get to the top. There are much better ways to enjoy your life!
no, as i didnt realise there were going to be problems, and the competition just disappeared. at 0855 i was in first place by approx a million blue candies, and at 0905 it had disappeared.
i posted on this very early on, and asked if it was just me, or were a lot of people having the problems. i have no reason to lie. i wish i could give you a screenshot, but.......

What I said there is about that event only. I clearly mentioned that "Everything here is fair, nothing's unfair with this event." What I mentioned as "here" refers to this event, not the whole game. What And plus, there are lot of errors in this game, and sometimes I lose my win streak suddenly with no reason(unfair). Overall, this game is unfair, but this event is fair.(But there were some cases, cheaters have been added to the event.)
Do you have any screenshots to submit, to prove that you were in the first place? Then I can agree with it.
I agree with the frustration expressed by others because I have repeatedly experienced these issues myself. The game should at the very least show the final results. It used to do that, but lately the competition ends and the results are not shared. I know for a fact that I won the contest because I was proactive and opened the Candy Crush app on multiple devices and multiple tabs. Only ONE showed the results but all of the others do not. I won. The difference is that the one showing my winning result was not refreshed since last night (computer app). All other instances (phone and another computer with browser tabs opened from Facebook) were refreshed and NO feedback was provided. The developers have failed to satisfy the requirements of reporting results and giving awards, when earned. I'm going to send another email via the contact link at the bottom of this page to report it (again).
Top Climber did not appear with my prizes, had a notification that I was first, then nothing!

i am sure in a lot of situqtions, the different time zones make a difference. i 100% agree. i just dont feel they are on this blue candy competition, reading the situations people are talking about. otherwise i will move to their time zone where they get millions of blue candies in a few hours! :)
I think written texts gets misunderstood rather than face to face chats. i didnt mean to come across rude to you. so sorry if it came across like that. just in this case i didnt think time zones did. i could be right, i could be wrong. my wife will tell you it is the latter.
I get told I have Sam's Streak but it never appears !!! The glitches in this game are now unbelievable.

I never said that I did NOT understand the frustration 😉 I think I even said that it happens to me also. I just tried to explain, that its not unusaul. The frustration I have to. So IF that wasn't clear, I hope it is now.
So again, time differences, time lages with a couple of million players COULD all play into this story. And dthat dont means i'm 100% correct. But it plays trough the whole of this story.
IF what you say is correct (thats not on the forum) you have to contact support. Thats seperat from the forum and can be checked.
